Here is a finished picture of my truck. I used the Bronze Metallic automotive paint. It was applied with a 50/50 reducer to paint ratio, and at about 20-25psi at the gun. It worked best to lay out in thin coats, and this kept the metal flake from sagging, and also kept the finish smooth. The high mix of thinner lets the overspray melt back into the paint, and I have done ZERO finish sanding. All that’s left is a good buff and polish. I have been getting tons of complements on the paint, and when I tell people its a single stage Acrylic Enamel, and that it only cost $35 bucks a gallon, they are really surprised. I plan to purchase more paint for my race truck soon.
